Custom pool contractor · Boerne, TX Pools and landscapes for Boerne hillsides.
Boerne is where most of our portfolio lives, from golf course lots to homes high above the hills. We know this ground because we have built on it for decades.
Building on Boerne ground
Much of the Boerne area sits on limestone close to the surface, often with a layer of caliche, under thin soil. That shapes every project here. Excavation for a pool is a different job than it would be in deep soil, and a site that looks gentle can hide a real grade change. On a sloped lot, a pool usually needs retaining walls and engineered structure before it needs anything else.
The same slopes give Boerne its best feature: the views. Several of our projects look out over the hills or across a golf course, and a vanishing edge pool is often the natural answer. Our contemporary pool above the golf course and the hilltop resort pool are two examples.
Oaks, deer and dry summers
Mature live oaks are often the most valuable thing on a Boerne property, and their roots reach well beyond the canopy. We design grading and walls around them from the first drawing. Oak wilt is a real concern in this part of Texas, so any work near oaks needs care, especially in spring.
Planting has its own local rules. Deer browse nearly everything that isn’t protected or unpalatable to them, and summers are long and dry. Our landscape architecture work chooses plants that can handle both, and our irrigation and drainage work is designed around them.
Neighborhoods and approvals
Boerne has grown into a community of master-planned and gated neighborhoods, many with owners associations and design review. Some properties sit inside city limits, others outside them in Kendall County, and that changes who reviews the work. It is worth checking what applies to your lot early, before design decisions get made. See our notes on Hill Country estate communities.

Common questions
01 Do you build pools in Boerne?
Yes. Boerne is home base for us. Our studio is on Market Avenue, and most of the projects in our portfolio are in the Boerne area.
02 Is it hard to build a pool on a limestone lot in Boerne?
It takes more planning than building in deep soil, because rock sits close to the surface and many lots slope. Rock is a normal part of building here, and it is something we plan for from the start.
03 Do you work in Cordillera Ranch and Tapatio Springs?
Yes, we serve Boerne’s estate and golf communities. Tell us where your property is and we will review your community’s requirements before design begins.
