Raised stone pool wall with steps beside the house, lit water and moon at night

Luxury custom pool builder · Texas Hill Country Pools drawn for the land they sit on.

Every pool we build is custom concrete, designed for one property and built by our own crews, from the first site walk to the final stone.

Vanishing edge pools

A vanishing edge pool, sometimes called an infinity pool, spills over one side into a catch basin below, so the water appears to meet the view. Hill Country lots suit the form because so many of them fall away toward the hills.

It is also the most demanding pool to build. The edge has to be perfectly level, the wall beneath it becomes a visible piece of architecture, and the structure has to hold on a slope. That is why structural engineering sits inside our design/build scope. Our 14-foot vanishing edge won a 2026 Silver Award, and a free-form pool with a beach entry earned a 2025 Award of Merit. For more on what it takes, read our guide to building a vanishing edge pool on a hillside.

Spas that stand on their own

A spa does not have to be an afterthought at the end of a pool. We build perimeter-overflow spas, where water sheets over every side, and wet-dam spas that pour over one wall into the pool below. We also build freestanding concrete spas for properties that want the water without a full pool. Those spas have earned Southwest Pool & Spa Show awards in 2024 and 2026, including the solo spa and linear fire feature and an oversized spa beneath a custom pergola.

Beach entries, sun shelves and swim-up bars

The features people use the most are often the quietest. A beach entry lets you walk into the water at a gentle slope with no ladder and no steep steps, which matters for small children and for anyone who prefers an easier way in. A sun shelf gives you shallow water for a chair. A swim-up bar, paired with dry-side seating under a pergola, lets guests in and out of the water share the same conversation.

Natural, lagoon and contemporary pools

Some properties call for a pool that looks found rather than built: boulder spillways, moss rock waterfalls and a waterfall grotto linking spa to pool. Others call for clean geometry, cut Lueders stone, perimeter overflow and a sculpture set in the water. We let the house and the site decide.

Part of the whole property

A pool is rarely the whole project. Most of ours arrive with terraces, walls and stairs, outdoor kitchens and pergolas, and lighting, designed at the same time by the same team. Designing them together is what keeps the finished place feeling like one idea.

Common questions

01

How much does a luxury custom pool cost?

It depends on the site, the size and what comes with the pool, so we price each project individually after we have seen the property. As a reference point, our recent award-winning pools were entered in Southwest Pool & Spa Show categories for concrete pools valued at $150,000 and over and at $500,000 and over.

02

Can you build a vanishing edge pool on a steep lot?

Yes. Many of our vanishing edge pools sit on sloped sites. Structural engineering, retaining walls and site work are part of our design/build scope, and a slope is often what makes the edge work.

03

Do you only build pools?

No. We are a design/build landscape architecture and construction firm, so we can design and build the terraces, structures, planting, lighting and irrigation around the pool as well.
