For custom home builders & architects One partner for everything outside the house.
We work with custom home builders, architects and designers across the Texas Hill Country. You get one team for the pool, hardscape and landscape, and your client gets an exterior that belongs to the house.
One exterior scope, one contact
A custom home can easily collect a pool contractor, a mason, a landscaper, an irrigation sub and a lighting sub, all working around each other at the end of the job. We bring that scope under one roof. You have one point of contact, one schedule and one team responsible for the exterior from concept to the last plant.
Bring us in early
The best outdoor spaces are planned along with the house, not after it. Early decisions about finished floor heights, foundation walls, drainage and utility routes all shape what is possible outside. A short conversation during siting can save a costly change later, and it often opens up better answers on a sloped lot, such as a lower terrace or a vanishing edge pool that lines up with the main living room.
Respect for the architecture
Our job is to make the house look better. We take our direction from the architecture, whether that means a contemporary pool for a modern residence or used Chicago brick and wrought iron on a private courtyard pool. We are glad to work with your design team on materials, details and sight lines.
Built on engineering
Retaining walls, terraces and stairs near a new foundation need to be coordinated with care. Structural engineering and site work are part of our scope, and our grading and drainage work is designed to protect the house as well as the landscape.
A partner your client can trust
Your reputation goes with every sub you recommend. Dynamic Environments has been designing and building in the Texas Hill Country since 1987, with more than fifteen regional, national and international design awards. If you have a project coming up, call us or use the contact page and tell us where it is.
Work that belongs to the house
Common questions
01 When should a builder or architect bring you in?
As early as possible, ideally while the house is being sited and before the grading plan is final. Early coordination on foundations, drainage, utilities and views avoids changes later.
02 Can you handle the entire exterior?
Yes. Pool, spa, terraces, walls, outdoor kitchens, structures, planting, irrigation and lighting can all come from one team, so you have one contact for the whole exterior scope.
03 Can you work to an existing architect’s design?
Yes. We want the outdoor spaces to belong to the house, so the architecture is our starting point. We are glad to coordinate directly with your design team.
